1/4 C. butter
3 T. flour
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1 pint fresh oysters
2 C. milk
2 C. half & half
1 tsp salt
oyster crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a 3 qt. heavy sauce pan, blend in flour & pepper till smooth. Add oysters with liquor; simmer till edges of oysters begin to curl (3-4 min.). Stir in milk and half & half. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Add salt.
