1/2 gal Milk
2 lbs American Cheese
32 oz Cream of Celery Soup
2 lbs cooked/diced Potatoes
2 T Onion Salt
1 T Chicken Base
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot add water, chicken base, cream of celery soup and spices. Bring to a boil stirring often. Separate cheese slices and add to broth, stirring entire time. Remove from heat, add milk and potatoes. Better when reheated.

This is the original recipe we perfected when I worked at the TeePee. Reheat in microwave, a double pot on stove or stir constantly to avoid scalding. I like to bake the potatoes the day before, cool overnight in the frig then peel and dice. Makes a large batch.
