1 lb. lean hamburger, crumbled
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large can chili beans
1 large can diced tomatoes (or stewed tomatoes)
1 large can tomato sauce
1 tbsp chili powder (more or less, according to taste)
shredded cheddar cheese for a topping

Directions:

Combine all ingredients (except the shredded cheese topping) in the crockpot. Set timer on low; cook all day (minimum of 5 hours).

This is another crockpot special fast meal for busy working moms. This recipe is a variation of Patricia's chili recipe. Although there is some chopping to be done, the timesaving step is that the hamburger does not need to be browned before putting it into the crockpot. If you add a lettuce salad, you will have a complete meal.
