flank steak, sliced on the diagonal
1 can of beef consommé
1/4 to 1/2 cup of soy sauce
3 or 4 green onions, diced
1 package frozen Chinese pea pods

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. Set the timer on low; cook all day (minimum of 5 hours).

This is another crockpot special meal for busy working moms, although it takes more preparation time in the morning due to the slicing and dicing. If you are pressed for time, you can put in the whole flank steak and slice it before serving. With Minute Rice and a lettuce salad this makes a complete meal.
