1 1/2 pounds boneless top round
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 ribs celery, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can sliced mushrooms (or 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced)
1 can tomato soup
1 jar olives, drained, sliced (optional)
1/2 cup burgundy wine

Directions:
Directions:
Trim meat, cut in strips or cubes and brown in fat.
Add green pepper, onion, celery, garlic, mushrooms, and soup. Simmer for 45-60 minutes. Add wine and olives 10-15 minutes before serving. Add 1/3 cup water if there is insufficient sauce.

(Can use left-over rare oven roast, steak or London broil, following the recipe.)

Can be frozen.
