3 c, chicken, cooked and removed from bone
1 stick of butter
1 box stuffing mix
1 can chicken broth
1 8oz. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can sliced water chestnuts
salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
To stuffing mix add melted butter and half can of chicken broth. Mix well, and press half of mixture into bottom of 9x11 casserole dish. Mix chicken, sour cream, soup, water chestnuts, onion and salt and pepper. Layer this on top of stuffing mix in dish. Top with remaining stuffing mix mixture. Add water to the remaining broth to fill can. Pour on top of casserole. Bake at 350 for 45 min. or until bubbly in center.
