1 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour

Mix all of the above well and spread in large cookies sheet (jelly roll pan works well). Bake at 350º.

Bake until lightly browned. Remove from oven and place Hershey bars all around the baked dough. As they melt, spread them evenly over dough. Must work quickly on the spreading process as the chocolate sets up quickly.
Recipe calls for 8 Hershey Bars. If you are using miniature bars, use more; enough to cover dough and spread evenly.
Can be frozen.
