2 c. tightly packed basil leaves, 1c. tightly packed flatleaf parsley, 1 c. grated parmesean, 2/3 c. olive oil 1/2 c. walnuts, 1/2 water or chicken broth, 2 cloves garlic, salt and pepper to taste

add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. pour into small tupperware containers lined with plastic wrap and freeze overnight. Wrap frozen discs in the plastic wrap and store in a large freezer bag.

Uncle Russ and Uncle Courtney throw a disc of pesto (thawed in the microwave) on freshly drained pasta and eat on the run when we have a church meeting.
