1 ½ cup white sugar
1 ½ cup brown sugar
2 cups butter or margarine
4 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
3 cups + 2 tbsp flour
4 ½ cups oatmeal – Quick Oats only
3 cups chocolate chips or 2 cups chocolate and 1 cup butterscotch chips.
2 cups nuts – walnuts or pecans

Directions:

Cream together the butter and sugars.

Add eggs, vanilla, salt and baking soda.

Alternate adding flour, oatmeal, chips and nuts until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.

Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 350ºF for 12 minutes
