Pepita, Cranberry Crispy Bars Recipe

1/2 cup pepitas
1/4 c butter
8 oz of miniature marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
5 cups Rice Krispie-like cereal
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup mini chocolate chips

Melt butter in large saucepan. Stir in marshmallows and cook for 2 minutes until smooth.

Remove from heat. Stir in pepitas, salt, vanilla and cranberries. Incorporate cereal until well coated.

Pat into a 9x13 pan prepared with cooking spray. Spray your hands with cooking spray to press mixture down firmly. Sprinkle chocolate chips and press into the bars.

Let bars cool completely and cut into squares.
