8 slices bacon, cut into 1" pieces
1 lg yellow onion
1 lg potato, cubed
8 ears of sweet corn, cooked and kernels removed from cob with sharp knife
2 C light cream
6 C milk
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute bacon until crisp, add chopped onion and saute until onion is tender; remove bacon and onion from drippings.
Place potato in just enough water to cover, cook until fork tender.
Place all ingedients in stock pot- bacon, onion, cooked potato (do not drain), corn, cream, milk. Simmer over low to medium heat, do not boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste
Using an immersible blender, mix to create a smoother chowder if desired.
