1980 LEAP YEAR PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Beat until soft-1/2 Cup Butter

Sift together-1/2 cup Brown Sugar and 1/2 cup White sugar

Add Sugar gradually to Butter and blend until creamy

Beat in: 1 Egg, 1 cup Peanut Butter, 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, 1/2 teaspoon Soda.

Add 1-1/2 cup (-sifted) All Purpose Flour to batter

Blend in 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla.

Roll dough into small balls, Place on greased cookie sheet and press flat with fork.

Bake 15 minutes in a 375º preheated oven

My Aunt Toot's sent me this recipe in an email...her message is below:

This recipe is on a 1980 calendar dish towel (The last Leap Year!) I never made it, but it sounds good, and I do love peanut butter cookies
