Directions:
Place brats in liquid (water/beer). Heat slowly to 150º. Hold at 150º for 15-20 minutes. Remove kettle from stove and put in sink. Flush with cold water until heat is gone. Drain and refrigerate. Finish cutting brats apart after cool (less juice loss). You may then freeze for later use. To finish cooking brats, brown thoroughly in skillet or on grill. You may finish brats directly from the hot liquid. NEVER COOK BRATS ON A HOT FIRE.
