1/2 c. melted butter
8 Tblsp. flour
1 can tomato paste
1 small can tomato sauce
12 c. water
2-3 stalks celery, diced
2 tsp. parsley
12 beef bouillon cubes
1 onion diced
1 c. uncooked long grain rice
2-3 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Mix butter and flour together until it goes off the side of the pot.
2. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste to butter mixture.
3. Add water and heat over medium heat.
4. Add bouillon, celery, onion, parsley, bay leaves, salt, and pepper
5. Once soup comes to a boil, add rice and simmer at least two hours.
