4 tsp sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup whiskey
Ginger & garlic

Directions:
Depending on the size of the turkey, you may need to double the marinate.

Salt turkey, rinse and drain. Marinate overnight, basting periodically.

Roast turkey at 400º for 20 minutes. Then lower to 350º. Lower to 325º for the last hour. Cover with foil if getting too brown. Add water to pan periodically to prevent drippings from burning.

8 lbs - 2-1/4 hours
16 lbs - 3 hours
18 lbs - 3-1/4 hours
20 lbs - 3-1/2 hours
22 lbs - 4 hours
23 lbs - 5 hours
