1 large package strawberry jello
1 (13 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 lbs frozen strawberries, undrained
(or fresh + 1/2 cup water & sugar)
1 (10oz) angel food cake loaf
1 pint whipping cream
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve jello in 2 cups hot water. Add pineapple, strawberries and juice. Chill until thickened. Break up cake into bite-sized pieces and place in a 9 X 13 pan. (1/2 recipe fits 9" square). Whip cream until stiff. Fold into jello mixture. Spoon over cake. Pack lightly (don't stir). Refrigerate until firm.
