4 c. cooked and cut up potatoes, 1/2 c. diced bacon, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. vinegar, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/2 Tbs. flour, 3/4 c. water.

Fry bacon and add to potatoes in a oven proof cassarole with a lid, leaving fat in the skillet. Add remaining ingredients to the skillet, bring to a boil and pour over potatoes. Cover and bake for 30 min.at 350º.
