2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. broken pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Mix sugar, butter, vanilla and egg. Stir in flour. Press in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of ungreased 9x13 pan. Bake until edges are light brown, 10-15 minutes. Beat brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and eggs. Stir in pecans. Pour over crust. Bake until set, 25-30 minutes. Loosen edges from sides of pan while warm; cool completely.
