1/2 c. Brown Sugar (packed)
1 T. Cornstarch
1/3 c. Red Wine Vinegar
1/3 c. Chicken Broth
1/4 c. Green Pepper (chopped)
2 T. Pimento (chopped)
1 T. Soy Sauce
1/4 t. Garlic Powder
1/4 t. Ground Ginger

Directions:

In a small sauce pan combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in red wine vinegar, chicken broth, green pepper, pimentos, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Cook until thick and bubbly. Serve warm.

This is a great sauce for shrimp, chicken or pork. Also good served over rice. You can also add pineapple, onion and carrots if you like.
