1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup shortening
1 egg
1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup milk, canned
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the sugar, shortening, and egg. Sift flour, baking power, salt and nutmeg, Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Pour into greased muffin tin. Bake at 350º for 20-25 min. Combine the remaining sugar and the cinnamon. Remove muffins from oven; immediately dip in butter then sugar mix. Serve warm
