2 Cups 100% Bran
2 Cups Boiling WAter
1 Cup Crisco
2 1/2 Cup Sugar
4 Eggs
5 Cups Flour
5 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Tsp Banking Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Quart Buttermilk
4 Cups 40% Bran Flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over the bran cereal and let set while you mix the other ingredients. Add softened cereal and mix well. Bake in muffin tins at 400º for 15 to 20 minutes.

This batter will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Keri and Steph love Grandma O's Bran Muffins. Great to have in the fridge for Holiday Breakfast.
