1 c. sugar
11/2 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 t. grated orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
11/2 c. raisins
11/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
sift flour, sugar,baking powder & baking soda into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbling. Add egg, orange peel & orange juice all at once; stir just until mixture is evenly moist. Fold in raisins & cranberries.
Spoon into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour & 10 mins.
Remove from pan & cool on a wire rack.

If you choose, you may substitute cranberries for raisins to have an all cranberry bread.
