2 tablespoons shortening
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 can tomato soup
1 cup raisins
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Water used to rinse out tomato soup can

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a loaf pan or two 9-inch cake pans.

Cream shortening and sugar. Add tomato soup and water with baking soda dissolved in it. Then add flour and spices. Flour raisins and add to mixture. Beat well. Add baking powder. Pour into prepared pan or pans. Bake for 25 minutes for layers.

Frost with cream cheese frosting.
