18-1/2 oz. package yellow cake mix
2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
3/4 cup oil
1 egg, beaten
12-oz. jar caramel ice cream topping
1 cup chocolate chips
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cake mix, oats, oil and eggs; spread half of mixture into a greased 13"x9" pan. Drizzle with caramel topping; sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Crumble remaining cake mix mixture over the top; bake at 350 degrees for 28 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
