6 cups sliced, peeled apples
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup uncooked quick oatmeal
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put sliced and peeled apples in buttered casserole dish.
Mix together 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and spread over apples.
Over this pour 1 cup of boiling water.
Mix together 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup uncooked quick oatmeal, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar over low heat. Spread over top of apple mixture. Bake in 350º oven for 45 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
