1 c. coffee
½ c. water
6 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. cocoa powder
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. cocoa powder
¾ cup flour (do not use cake flour)
1 tps. baking powder
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
¼ tps. salt
1 egg yolk

Preheat oven to 325º
In measuring cup mix coffee and water; set aside.

In a med. bowl combine:
butter, 1/3 c cocoa powder, unsweetened chocolate
Melt on double boiler, take off heat and stir until smooth and glossy. Set aside bowl #1.

Spray 8 inch square baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix with fingers until combined:
brown sugar, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. cocoa powder
Set aside bowl #2.

In a small bowl, combine flour and baking powder
Mix until combined, set aside bowl #3.

In a large bowl, whisk together:
2/3 c. sugar, milk, vanilla, salt and egg yolk.

Add bowl 1 to bowl 4 whisk together then add bowl 3 and stir until combined.
Pour into greased pan.
Sprinkle bowl 2 over top evenly
Pour coffee slowly and evenly over top.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes
It will look very runny in the middle and sides will look done.
Let cool 20 minutes,
Serve warm with ice cream.
