3 Tbsp cornstarch
6 cups milk (divided)
2 2/3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3/4 tsp salt
1 can evaporated milk
1 pint whipping cream
3 1/2 Tbsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornstarch and 2 cups milk over medium heat and stir until thick. Blend in mixer: sugar, eggs, salt, evaporated milk. Add hot mixture and beat. Add whipping cream, vanilla, and 4 cups milk. Mix well and freeze.

Variations:
Chocolate: add 2 squares melted chocolate (omit vanilla)
Peach: Add 2 cups fresh crushed peaches, use 1 tablespoon vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Strawberry: add 3 cups fresh crushed strawberries (omit vanilla and milk)
Banana: add 2 cups crushed bananas, use 1 tablespoon vanilla (omit milk)
