1 lb. dry split peas
8 cups water
2 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
2 large onions, chopped
2 medium carrots, chopped
2 cups cooked corn beef or ham
1/2 cup celery, chopped
5 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. salt

In a large pot combine all ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover & simmer for 1 1/2 hour, or until peas & vegetables are tender.
