Dry ingredients:
3/4 C sifted flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp cocoa
Frosting:
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 C water
2 sq chocolate or 2 tbsp cocoa

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1/2 C shortening and 3/4 C sugar. Cream well. Blend in 2 eggs, one at a time. Beat one min. Add dry ingredients. Gradually mix well. Add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 C chopped nuts. Spread in well greased pan (9x13) and bake 350º for 25 to 30 min. Remove from oven and cover top with marshmallows. Return to oven for 3 min or until marshmallows are soft and melted. Spread marshmallows evenly. Cool. Cover with chocolate frosting. Bring all ingredients to a boil in sauce pan and cook for 3 min Add 3 tbsp butter and 1 tsp vanilla. Cool. Blend 1/2 C sifted powdered sugar into cooled ingredients and spread over marshmallow top. Cut into bars.

I have a note on this recipe to double. I'm not sure if this recipe would be for a 9x9 pan and double would be for a 9x13. You will have to make it and see.
