1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 stick butter
1 large can of perferred fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, 1 cup of sugar (1/2 cup set aside), baking powder and milk. Stir until well blended.

Melt stick of butter in a 9"x13" baking dish. Pour 1/2 of melted butter into the batter, mix well. Pour batter into rest of butter. Place drained fruit over batter, then sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar over fruit. add water to drained juice to make a total of 1/2 cup of liquid. Pour over fruit. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
