1/2 lb pickled pork or salt meat
1 1/2 cup chopped onions
3 T oil
4 cups fresh corn cut fine
1 cup small fresh or frozen lima beans
1 small can tomatoes
10 ounces tomato juice
3 quarts beef broth or soup stock
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 T accent
salt to taste

Directions:
Brown pork or salt meat and onions in oil. When onions are transparent add corn and lima beans. Cook uncovered on low heat stirring often until corn is fried and begins to stick to the bottom of the pot. Add tomatoes and cook covered about 20 minutes. Add tomato juice, beef broth, black and cayenne pepper, accent and salt. Simmer about an hour until corn and beans are cooked through
