1 stick of butter or margarine
milk
1 lb box powdered sugar (confectioneries sugar)
1 tsp. vanilla extract


If you would like to make this chocolate add cocoa powder to your taste. If you would like very chocolate add more, for light use less.

Can also add melted chocolate squares

Also if you would like different flavors you can use flavored extracts.

For cream cheese frosting use above ingredients and add one block of cream cheese (softened)

In mixer put in stick of butter or margarine and cream in bowl. Add small amount of milk and powdered sugar and keep doing this until becomes thicker frosting. Add vanilla as last step.

Be careful not to add too much milk, will make frosting very thin. Also when adding sugar keep mixer on low so will not fly all over.
