1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 - 6oz package semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
butter 8" sq pan. Sprinkle nuts on bottom. In 1 1/2 qt sauce pan, combine brown sugar, butter and cook over med heat until SOFT CRACK stage (260º). stir often. Spread immediately over nuts and sprinkle with chocolate chips. let stand for a few minutes until melted. spread chocolate over hot toffee when it softens and melts. Chill through until hard. turn upside down and a bigger pan (cookie sheet works best) and after it falls out, break into pieces.
