1 large veal shank with meat on ,about 2 lbs pork shoulder and about 2 lbs pork shanks
Rinse meat and cover with fresh water to cook.Skim off froth then add 1 1/2 Tbs salt, 1 Tbs pickling spice, 1 onion cut up and l large garlic clove.

Cook until meat is very well done and juice has cooked down. Strain off all spices and add 1/2 c vinegar. Then mix 2 Tbsp plain gelatin and add hot juice. Cut meat very fine and add to juice, put in bread pans and refrigerate. Slice and serve on sandwiches or eat in a salad
