Whole chicken

1 egg
water as needed.

DO NOT KNOW THE AMOUNTS. I JUST USED MY IMAGINATION. GOOD LUCK.
Cook chicken and de-bone. Set aside, save brouth.place flour on waxed paper, Push flour up to make a peak. Place a hole in the middle of flour and add 1 egg. Mix and add enough water to make a ball. Roll out into VERY thin squares. Place on top of each other into a stack and slice in to VERY thin strips. Place on a floured board or drain board. Cover with flour and spread out. turn frequently until dry. Put cooked chicken and broth w some water in pan and bring to boil. Put noodles in and boil till noodles are done. Add salt to taste.

This is very good with mashed potatoes.

The first time Mom gave me the recipe, she told me to add the egg, but failed to tell me I could add a little water. So I mixed and mixed, I finally got it done. BUT I told her I would never make them again, they were the hardest things I ever made. And she said, Oh, I forgot to tell you, you could add a little water. I have made them since and they are not hard at all. Just takes a little time. One of my favorite things Mama made
