3/4 c cinnamon
1Tbsp allspice
2Tbsp ground cloves
1 Tbsp nutmeg
1 c applesauce
copper wire
satin ribbon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients. Blend well. Stir in applesauce. Mix well. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness on ungreased cookie sheet. Using small cookie cutter, cut dough into desired shapes. Reroll dough as necessary. Cut wire into 2 inch lengths. Bend into horseshoe shapes. Insert into tops of ornaments for hanging later. Let dry uncovered for 4-5 days.

These ornaments smell delicious! If dough is too wet or too dry, add small amounts of ingredients to remedy. Some recipes call for glue. I have never tried it. I have added glitter. When they are dry, you can paint details if you want.
