1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 T. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts, optional
2 cups miniature marshmallows

Frosting:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 square chocolate
1/4 cup water
3 T. butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt, cocoa and baking powder. Cream together shortening and sugar. Add the 4 beaten eggs. Add dry ingredients (flour, salt, cocoa and baking powder). Blend in 2 tsp. vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased 9"x13" pan and bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes. Take out and cover top with marshmallows. Return to oven and bake 2 minutes more. Take out and spread marshmallows over top. Cool and frost.

Frosting: Boil 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 square chocolate and 1/4 cup water for 3 minutes. Add
3 T. butter and 1 tsp. vanilla. Cool. Blend in 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Frost and cut into bars.
