1 pound ground beef
1/2 - 1 cup chopped onion
1/2 - 1 cup cubed potatoes
1/2 - 1 cup carrots
1/2 - 1 cup celery
~ 1/2 cup rice
~ 1 cup tomato juice.

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in skillet. Remove to a baking dish. Add onion, potatoes, carrots, celery, rice and tomato juice. Stir together. Bake at least 1 hour at 350º to 375º, adding tomato juice as needed.

This is not really a recipe, but a dish I used to "throw together" for supper when my children were growing up and all at home. You'll need to adjust ingredients to taste. Experiment and have fun.
