1 c. dark brown sugar, 1 c. granulated sugar, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 1/2 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Generously butter a large cookie sheet. Mix sugar and milk in a medium saucepan. Cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly, to 234ºF on a candy thermometer or until a soft ball forms in cold water. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Immediately drop by tablespoonfuls onto the cookie sheet or waxed paper to form patties.
