3 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 pinch Salt
1 C. Heavy Whipping Cream

In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese, sugar and salt. Beat in whipping cream until stiff peaks forms. Place in a pretty crystal dish, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator.

This is a must-have topping with scones. The proper way to prepare a scone, is to first spread it with Devonshire Cream and then top it with a dollop of your favorite Fruit Curd or Preserves. This can be prepared the day before your Tea Party.
