1 lb. lean ground beef
15 oz. pizza sauce
1 t. dried oregano
1/2 med. onion
1/2 med. green pepper
1 oz. sliced pepperoni (optional)
6 hamburger buns, split
1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
In skillet, brown ground beef. Drain. Stir in sauce and oregano. In food processor, chop onion, pepper, pepperoni; add to beef mixture. Simmer 20-25 minutes. Spoon mixture onto open-faced buns. Top with cheese and mushrooms. Bake at 350º until cheese has melted.
