Ingredients: 2 pounds of large mushrooms 1/2 cup butter and enough for saute 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper 1 pound cream cheese, softened 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 cup chopped parsley 1 tsp. dill weed 1/4 cup sour cream Chablis Bread Crumbs Grated Parmesan Cheese Parsley for garnish

Directions:1- Prepare cheese stuffing mixture. Chop stems of mushrooms and saute them in a small amount of butter with minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper. 2- In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder, 1/2 cup chopped parsley, dill weed and 1/2 cup butter. 3- Drain the sautéed mushroom stems and add them to cheese mixture with the sour cream. Set aside. 4- Saute mushroom caps in butter until soft. Remove from heat and allow to cool before filling them with the cheese stuffing mixture. 5- Sprinkle the stuffed mushroom with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Bake in preheated oven 400º F until hot and golden brown. Garnish with sprig of fresh parsley. |
