1 cup sugar
1 egg
6 tbsp sour milk or buttermilk
(to sour milk mix 5 tbsp. milk and 1 tbsp. vinegar)
1/2 cup soft margarine or butter
2 cups flour
1 tsp.. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved is 1 tbsp. water
1/2-1 tsp. salt
2-3 very ripe bananas
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar egg and butter with electric mixer.

Stir together Flour, baking powder and soda and milk.

After creaming first ingredients, slowly add flour mixture and mix until combined.

Stir in bananas and walnuts and turn batter into greased loaf pan.

bake at 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
