3/4 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 - 3 medium)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
6 oz. semisweet chocolate pieces
2/3 c. walnuts

Preheat oven to 350º.

Grease a 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Beat butter with electric mixer on medium for 30 seconds to soften. Add the sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Beat until combined. Add the egg, bananas, and vanilla and mix until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as possible.

When batter becomes too stiff for mixer, stir in the remaining flour by hand. Add the chocolate pieces and nuts. Bake in 350º oven for 25 minutes.
