4 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 C. sugar
3/4 C. butter, softened
4 eggs
1/2 C. water
1 15oz. can pumpkin
1 C. plus 2 tsp. mini chocolate chips
2 TB. chpd. pecans
2 tsp. sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. grease bottom only of two loaf pans. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl, set aside. Beat butter with 2 C. sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in water and pumpkin. Add flour mixture beat until moistened. Stir in 1 C. mini chocolate chips. Spread evenly into loaf pans. Sprinkle tops with remaining 2 TB. chocolate chips, the pecans and 2 tsp. sugar. Bake for 1 hour 5 min. to 1 hour 15 min. or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 mins; remove form pans to wire rack and cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.
