2 c. self-rising Sunflower meal
1 egg
1 t. sugar
1 c. milk
Crisco oil
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients with enough milk to make a sticky batter. Drop large spoons of batter into a (cast iron) frying pan with 1/4 inch of hot oil in bottom. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
