1 onion, chopped
6 c. vegetable oil
3 c. vinegar
1 c. water
3 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tsp. mustard
2 to 3 lbs. chip chopped ham
12 hamburger buns or pita rounds

Directions:
Directions:
In a kettle, saute onion in oil and add remaining ingredients, except meat and buns. SImmer to blend flavors. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

To serve: Brown chopped ham in a skillet with butter. Add sauce when ready to serve and cook to heat through. Serve in pita bread or hamburger buns.
