Jane’s Breakfast Cake Recipe

Cake Batter:
1 pkg. cake mix, any kind
1 large pkg. instant pudding, matching the cake
3/4 c. oil (vegetable or canola)
3/4 c. water
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sprinkle Mix:
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. finely chopped nuts, any kind

Grease bundt pan well. Sprinkle a little of the sugar, cinnamon, and nut mixture into the pan, reserving the remainder.

Mix cake batter ingredients well, withholding the vanilla. Mix on high speed for 6-8 minutes, adding the vanilla at the end. Layer cake batter and the remaining sugar mixture, making sure to end with the batter on top. Bake 35-45 minutes at 350° until toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack.

Glaze with topping of choice (strawberry syrup, chocolate syrup, and powdered sugar work well).
