3-4 c. rhubarb (enough to cover dish with several layers)
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/4 c. milk (or cream)
1 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place rhubarb in bottom of 9x13 pan. Mix sugar, butter, egg, milk, flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread mixture over rhubarb. Bring water and sugar to a boil, pour over batter. Bake 45 minutes at 350º.
