1 C butter
2 C sifted flour
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
¾ C sour cream
¾ C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¾ C walnuts, finely chopped

Cut butter into flour, as for pie crust. Mix egg yolk and sour cream together. Add to flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Divide dough into 3 portions. Chill thoroughly—several hours or overnight. Roll out each portion, on floured board, into circles about 12 inches in diameter. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Sprinkle this mixture on dough. Cut each circle into about 16 wedges, and roll up each wedge, starting from outside edge.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 375º, for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
